Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the operational running of the Urgent Treatment Centre, cross covering the Emergency Department and SDEC Unit on an ad hoc basis. The post holder will work with closely with clinical leads to ensure safe and efficient services are delivered in line with the Trusts CARES values.
Day to day operations of the Urgent Treatment Centre whilst providing support and cross cover for the Emergency Department and UEC areas.
To lead and facilitate service development, improvement to patient pathways in collaboration with the clinical leads and multidisciplinary team and stakeholders both in and out of hospital.
Develop and implement a comprehensive capacity plan that ensures the delivery of both key access targets and savings attributed to the services within the portfolio.
To support the General Manager in developing and implementing strategic plans in relation to integrated care and service re-design for acute hospital services.
To ensure rotas are filled and budgets are maintained.
To support the clinical and non-clinical team in achieving the national standards associated with the services.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services.
