Summary
Support an efficient procurement, receipt and distribution process for all catering goods in line with current hygiene legislation and HACCP procedures Ensure safe and secure storage of food across all catering areas Maintain compliance with NHS Food Standards and food safety regulations Carry out routine stock checks and maintain accurate records Monitor storage areas to ensure security and hygiene standards are consistently met Support the management of dietary and allergen requirements Deliver a high standard of customer service to patients, families and colleagues Contribute to continuous improvement within procurement and stock handling processes About You We are looking for someone who: Works well both independently and as part of a team Is organised, proactive and detail-focused Communicates confidently with a wide range of people Takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness Is committed to providing excellent customer care Catering experience and a Food Safety certificate are desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. As part of the recruitment process, you will complete a Maths and English assessment. A pass is required to progress to interview.
