Summary
GP Receptionist (Patient Care Coordinator)Hours: Monday & Friday 08:0018:30Purpose of the Role To provide high-quality reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice and safe coordination of patient care. Key Responsibilities Patient Access & Communication Act as first point of contact for patients via telephone and face-to-face Manage non GP appointment bookings Signpost patients appropriately according to practice protocols Handle sensitive information with discretion Governance & Confidentiality Maintain strict patient confidentiality Follow practice policies and procedures Support safe systems of work in line with CQC standards Team Working Work collaboratively with clinicians and administrative colleagues Support service improvements where required
