Summary
An opportunity for a Trainee Aluminium Production Welder within a well-established fabrication and Sheetmetal company in Nelson, Lancashire.
The Company:
Established in 2003, this family run Group employs approximately 35 employees. Their teams provide an all-round design, laser, fold, and fabrication service to a broad customer base.
Due to continued growth and winning some long-term contracts they are looking for Aluminium Welders to join a small friendly Fabrication team.
About The Role
• Have some previous experience working in a Production environment, someone looking for a new skill
• Be physically fit.
• Safe use of power tools e.g., grinder, pistol drill, tapping drill, saws etc
• Ability to work to a production pace within a factory setting.
• The job is JIG work based.
• Ability to communicate, ask questions and discuss any issues which may cause production delays.
• Update records and clock on daily.
• Training on Aluminium will be considered for the right person.
• Full on-the-job training will be provided for all aspects of this role.

Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am - 16:30
Friday 8:00am – 14:00
Overtime Available.
Starting Rate £14 per hour rising to £15.20
Once targets are being met.
30 Days Leave (+1 After 5 years)
