Summary
The Role
As a Membership Assistant (Advice) at SUSU, you will join a fast-paced, specialist team working collaboratively to deliver our Advice Centre services. You will play a key role in providing an excellent customer experience by managing the reception service, responding to calls and emails from students seeking support, and operating the triage system for incoming enquiries.
The role involves accurately recording student information on Advice Pro, ensuring Advice Centre policies are followed, and overseeing the smooth and efficient administration of the service. You will also contribute to the delivery of campaigns and support the outreach of our mediation service.
Please note that this is a part time role of 27.5 hours per week, with the working hours of 10am-4pm Monday-Friday (in line with service delivery).
About You
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy customer-facing environment, with strong communication skills and the ability to respond to a high volume of enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner. They will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in accurately recording and handling sensitive information. Experience of administrative processes, triage systems, or case management databases would be advantageous. The candidate should also be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, use initiative, and show a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality, policy compliance, and delivering high-quality support services.
