Summary
The Approved Premises Performance and Quality Team is part of the wider National Approved Premises Team.
In this post you will play a key role in supporting high‑quality practice, delivering workshops, leading improvement activity, and working
closely with AP staff and managers to strengthen safety, consistency and service delivery. Our national training programme reaches over 400 colleagues
each year, helping teams feel confident, informed, and ready to make a real difference.
Overview of the job but not limited to:
As an integral member of the Performance and Quality Team the Performance Team Member will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support service that contributes towards the overall effectiveness of the department.
Summary:
Member of a team working to support the development and business change team.
Their responsibilities will include:
• Helping individual LDU clusters to ensure performance and authorship to agreed targets
• Supporting the authorship and development of a quality improvement programme tailored to the needs of the division and HMPPS priorities
• Identifying local performance and quality issues and developing initiatives in response to that.
