We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operative to join our factory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the manufacturing environment, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace. Responsibilities
Conduct routine cleaning of machinery, workstations, and production areas to meet hygiene standards
Use hand tools and power tools to assist with cleaning tasks and minor maintenance activities
Ensure all cleaning procedures comply with health and safety regulations
Assist with waste disposal and ensure the proper segregation of recyclable materials
Support the team in maintaining a tidy and organised work environment
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Report any hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly
Experience
Previous experience in a factory or industrial cleaning role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction or maintenance tasks is desirable
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills related to factory hygiene standards
