Year 4 Teacher – Full-time, long-term and ongoing from ASAP

Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 4 pupils.
  • Assess learning, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to sustain high standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support year-group and whole-school priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to wider school life, including events, trips, and enrichment opportunities.
  • Follow all safeguarding, assessment, and teaching policies.

Ideal Year 4 Teacher:

  • Holds QTS with experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and positive behaviour strategies.
  • Shows a commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Has excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Adapts teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community.
  • Is proactive, reliable, and dedicated to high-quality teaching.
