Summary
What will be expected from me?
The purpose of this role is to support our Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our residents. You will be expected to work across all three of our care homes upon request. These care homes are:
Hazelgarth - Hazel Garth/Hazel Rd, Knottingley WF11 0LG
Dovecote Lodge - Dovecote Ln, Horbury, Wakefield WF4 6DJ
Flanshaw Lodge - 102 Flanshaw Ln, Wakefield WF2 9JE
What would I be doing?
You will within the Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for the residents within this unit.
You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
You will enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.

Essential requirements:
NVQ 2 in Social Care or working towards.
An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
