Summary

Bookkeeper Required – Cash Exchange

Position: Part-Time (Flexible for the right candidate)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Cash Exchange is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting knowledge and hands-on experience using Xero to play a key role in maintaining our financial accuracy and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities

Maintaining accurate financial records

Bank reconciliations and cash handling reconciliation

Processing invoices, payments, and receipts

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Preparing VAT returns

Assisting with payroll processing

Producing monthly management reports

Liaising with external accountants where required

✅ Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (minimum 2 years preferred)

Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong understanding of VAT and financial regulations

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)

⭐ Desirable:

Experience within retail, finance, or cash-handling environments

AAT qualification or equivalent
