Rate of Pay: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hrs)
Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing
Location: PaLS Lissue, Lisburn

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a CECS Office Administrator (Band 3) to join the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS) Community Equipment and Continence Service based at Lissue.

The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated administrative team providing a single point of contact for clients and healthcare professionals. You will support the delivery of community equipment and continence products throughout HSCNI by coordinating requisitions, scheduling deliveries and collections, updating systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various IT and patient administration systems to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Liaise with Occupational Therapists, District Nurses and other professionals
  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries and collections of equipment and continence products
  • Provide customer-facing support at the counter and via telephone
  • Prepare paperwork including requisitions, delivery notes and collection dockets
  • Maintain accurate records on internal and external systems
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Assist with stock and non-stock order processing
  • Support management in service-related tasks
  • Maintain waiting lists and assist with stock counts
  • Provide an Electronic Materials Management (EMM) service as required

Essential Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following:

Experience
  • Minimum 12 months relevant experience, gained in a customer service, purchasing, or logistics environment, including regular use of:
    • Patient administration systems
    • Order processing systems
Qualifications
  • Five GCSEs (Grades A-C)* including English Language and Maths, OR
  • An equivalent qualification demonstrating numeracy and literacy, OR
  • Higher qualifications
IT Skills
  • At least one year's experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook (or similar)
