Ideally to hold an undergrad Degree in English from a top University
Similar experience in an inner-city school will be beneficial
Ability to teach and lead to an Outstanding level
MPS4 to UPS3 - £46,339 to £62,496 + TLR2c £7,847
Support and scaffold the efforts of the SLT and HOD English
Plan and deliver exceptional lessons to KS3, KS4 & KS5
Share best practice and nurture developing teachers in the English Department
Support trainee teachers and manage TA/LSA team
Deploy resources and liaise with the SEN team
Monitor and promote progress for all

English teacher 2iC Person Specification
Mut be an experienced English Teacher with QTS
At least 3 years experienced as an English Teacher
Ideally to hold an undergrad Degree in English from a top University
Similar experience in an inner-city school will be beneficial
Ability to teach and lead to an Outstanding level
Show and demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching and learning
