Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic and scientifically skilled person to take on a senior role at the St. George's Radiological Protection Centre (RPC). The successful applicant would be working in the diagnostic radiology service provided to the Group hospitals and, through acting as an appointed MPE, to a wide range of external customers. This is a senior role in a friendly team providing expert radiation protection services across the UK and further afield.
You will use your knowledge, skills and experience to help ensure compliance with the regulatory framework, improve the radiation safety of patients and staff and play an important role in the development of the RPC's scientific services. You will also play a role in the delivery of the RPC's training commitments to healthcare professionals.
If you don't meet all of the requirements of the person specification, but are working towards meeting some of the essential criteria, we still encourage you to apply. We will consider a development role for the right applicant.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the RPC, meet the team and chat about the role when applying.
