Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused individual to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Therapies Department. The role is responsible for the careful management of outpatient pathways administration. You will undertake a key role in a busy and demanding reception as well as the back-office tasks within the Musculoskeletal service, ensuring we deliver on a range of outpatient targets including clinic utilisation, RTT compliance and waiting list management.
As an administration team leader, you will manage and lead a team of receptionist and administrators. You will be responsible for organising workload and cover, recruiting and inducting new staff members, identifying training and support required by individuals and managing performance. The post holder will have specific responsibility for driving forward excellent standards of customer service, taking action where levels of service delivery fall short of what is required or do not uphold Trust values.
You will work closely with your colleagues, with a view to providing a streamlined pathway for patients in the service. You will be activity involved in the coordination of patients’ therapy pathway from referral to treatment.
You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive and energy to improve the patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have a patient centered approach and experience of working within a busy NHS team, with values that are aligned with the Trust’s core values.
