Summary
We are representing a growing fabrication company specialising in the manufacture of fire sprinkler systems and related metal components. We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level General Metal Worker to join our workshop team. This role is ideal for someone wanting to start or build a career in metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with fabrication and assembly of metal components for sprinkler systems
Cutting, drilling, deburring, and preparing metal parts
Assisting with basic welding and fabrication tasks (training provided)
Powder coating preparation, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts
Operating powder coating equipment and ovens under supervision
Inspecting finished products for quality and finish
General workshop duties and housekeeping
Following workplace health, safety, and quality procedures
Requirements
Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on skills
Ability to use hand and power tools (training provided)
Good attention to detail, especially for finishing and coating work
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Desirable (Not Essential)
Any previous workshop, manufacturing, or powder coating experience
Interest in metal fabrication or engineering
