Summary
Provide consultant medical services to patientsadmitted to the Rheumatology and GIM ward supervise junior doctors involved in the care of these patients 2.To provide Rheumatology services for the trustwhich includes delivering outpatient clinics, supporting specialist nurses, supporting day unit and seeing inpatient referrals. 3.ProvidewiththeotherConsultantsasystemofmutualout-of-hourscoverforAcuteandGeneralInternalMedicineandcoverforannual,studyandprofessionalleave. Person specification Education and Qualifications Essential criteria MBBS or Basic Medical Degree MRCP or equivalent Full GMC registration Desirable criteria MD/PhD Experience & Knowledge Essential criteria Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Rheumatology Ability to provide expert clinical opinion across a wide range of problems within General Medicine. Academic Achievements Essential criteria Ability to use research outcomes in clinical practice Experience of conducting clinical audit Key Skills Essential criteria Capable of organising and prioritising work effectively Able to form part of a team and recognise the importance of team working Ability to work under pressure
