Summary
Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical Bias required for a a Multi National Utilities company.
As the suitable candidate you will have experience in maintaining Critical National Infrastructure (CNI)-the physical and digital assets essential to the UK's energy security. Working on high-voltage substations, interconnectors, or gas transmission sites where "uptime" is the absolute priority.
Your primary mission is to ensure that critical assets are 100% operational to prevent any national energy outages.

PPM & Reactive Maintenance: Executing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and responding immediately to equipment failures.

Electrical Focus: Leading on complex electrical faults (HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS systems, and battery banks), while supporting basic mechanical or BMS (Building Management System) tasks.
- Mechanical: Basic plumbing, AHUs (Air Handling Units), and cooling systems
- Shift Cover: 2 days 2 nights - 4 off - While your base role is "Day Shift" you act as the primary relief for the 24/7 shift rotation. You must be available to cover for sickness, holidays, or emergencies, which will include nights and weekends.

Permit to Work (PTW): Issuing and managing safety documents, ensuring all work complies with strict Distribution Safety Rules (DSR)
- Work is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices

Ensure the responsible sites are fully compliant and follow industry best practices.

Daily monitoring and responsibility of all main plant and equipment.

Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients

Maintain the professional image always, and promote services.

Ensure All subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.

Ensure you manage the site logbook system and all paperwork is kept up to date

To oversee the management of the on-site CAFM and Concept systems and ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed within SLA.

Receiving client issues and resolving these issues effectively without disruption to business or compromising client relationships.
Applicants for the role must possess the following:
- Fully electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 18th edition
- Experience working on powerstation environment
- Driving License
