Working hours 8pm till 4 am
Contract type:
• Permanent contact of 15.00 hrs with optional covering hours
£12.99 per hour
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to catering staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Event Coordination: Support Coordinate aspects of catering events, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring adherence to client specifications and company standards.
• Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and supporting catering orders.
• Sales: Using initiative to maximise sales, Ensuring you can provide our customers with the appropriate knowledge of food items sold throughout.
• Quality Control: Oversee food presentation ensuring quality and consistency, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Keeping the catering areas and service counters clean and fully stocked. Monitoring the stock in the ambient, chilled and hot service points to keep in line with health & safety food guidelines
• Cost Management: Monitor catering expenses, including labour, supplies, and equipment, and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and local ordinances at all catering locations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Other Duties: Assist in stocktaking as required. To communicate with the service management team to ensure replenishment orders are placed in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure you create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
• Take orders accurately and efficiently on the counter be able to communicate effectively• Excellent craft skills background
• Experience in catering or food industry
• Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
• Strong Supervisory experience
• Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service. Be aware of COSHH regulations and use appropriate protective equipment when using chemicals.
• Adhering to dress code policies. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and cooperation.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe environment.
