Summary
Neway International are seeking a Care Worker to join our client based with Thurrock Council.
Location: Springhouse Road, Corringham, Essex, SS17 7LE
Hours: 27 hours per week (3 night shifts per week)
Start Date: 1 March 2026
Duration: 12 weeks - will be extended after review.
Rate: PAYE: £12.21 per hour
Limited/Umbrella: £15.75 per hour

The Role
The Care Worker will provide personal care and daily living support to residents within residential settings, working across both Collins House (Corringham) and Piggs Corner (Grays). This is a night‑shift role requiring reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans
Support with medication, food, and fluid intake
Maintain accurate records and follow all care procedures
Work flexibly across Collins House and Piggs Corner as required
Deliver compassionate, person‑centred care during night shifts
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and report concerns promptly
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all organisational policies
Candidate Requirements
Experience providing care within a residential or similar setting
Ability to deliver personal care safely and respectfully
Understanding of medication support and care documentation
Flexible to work across two residential homes
Reliable, compassionate, and committed to high‑quality care
Enhanced DBS required
Ability to work three night shifts per week
