I am looking for a self-employed PA to support me to organise my life and my abilities with a goal of being able to manage my daily living needs independently, and eventually to find employment
I have a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism and PTSD symptoms and become overwhelmed if bombarded with information, I appreciate a calm and gentle approach and to discuss anything in a measured way.
My wish is to have independence of my own, to have employment and to enable this I am aware I will need support from others to commence a good daily/weekly routine, I need to be able to take my medication each day to support my ADHD as I have found that when I forget to take my medication this impacts negatively on my abilities to manage my personal care, my sleep, and my ability to access the local community, I also find that I neglect/forget to have food and fluid which in turn negatively affects my health and wellbeing, so prompting from you would be very helpful.
I would like support from you to encourage and motivate me to access the local community, I want support to organise myself, to make a list of my shopping, to assist with accessing the local community to build my confidence, to motivate me, and to build my ability to be able to do things for myself.
I am looking for a PA who understands my needs and my wish for structure, organising and planning daily or weekly tasks/chores/activities.
I would prefer the support to take place in the afternoons over 2 or 3 days, but I can be flexible, we can discuss this when we meet.
It’s important to me to ensure that all community‑based activities are followed by scheduled quiet time or low‑demand downtime. This allows me time and the opportunity to decompress, regulate, and recharge after accessing stimulating environments.
The outcome I would like to achieve is to feel more organised, less overwhelmed, and better able to engage in community activities/shopping while maintaining emotional balance and reducing burnout/fatigue.
I would love to hear from you if you can support me.
