Summary


· To provide administrative and related support services ensuring that these are of high quality, appropriately targeted and developed within a recognizedframework.Thiswillinvolvecloseandjointworkingwithothermanagers,team leaders and clinical staff.

· Thepostholderwillworkincollaborationwiththe Referral Co-ordinatortoensure thatthe service operates efficiently and effectively, achieves the data quality, clinical activity and income targets and is compliant with all the appropriate Trust policies &initiatives.



· The postholder will work as an integral part of the ward team. He/she will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the ward area and ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• To oversee systems supporting the Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit and to ensure that facilities are managed effectively.

The inpatient unit is currently based at the Bethlem Royal Hospital, Monks Orchard Road, Beckenham,LondonBR3 3BX,howeverin2026 theunitisscheduledto bemovingtoanewpurpose built Douglas Bennett House site at the Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill (work currently underway).



OurTrustheadquartersislocated atDenmarkHilllessthan5 minutesfrom thetrainstation(zone2). We also provide services and operate across other locations, such as London boroughs of Croydon, Lambeth,LewishamandSouthwark; andsubstancemisuseservicesforresidentsofBexley,Lambeth, Greenwich and Wandsworth.

The Eating Disorder Inpatient Service

TheEatingDisorderserviceisaninpatientunit(currently16beds; TysonWestIIWard)basedatthe Bethlem Royal Hospital (due to relocate to Maudsley Hospital in 2026) accepting local and national referrals for severe and chronic eating disorders.

Providehighlyproficientadministrativesupporttotheservice.

· Todeliverahighstandardofcustomercarethatis representativeof theserviceandthe overall trusts objectives.

· Supportservice-relatedprojectswiththeReferral Co-ordinator, Ward ManagerandMDT.

· Assisttheservicewithmonitoring,updatingandreporting comprehensiveservice-related activitydata.

· Co-ordinatealongwiththeReferral Co-ordinatorthedaytoday adminsupportforthe service and assist with the development of administrativeprocesses.

· Meetingandgreetingofvisitorsandprofessionalsontotheward

· Toparticipateinanytraininganddevelopmentalneedsasrequiredby theWardManager.

· Bookingmeetingsanddistributionofminutes,agendaandanyother relatedmaterials.

· Collectionanddistributionofpost

· Adhochelpcoveringforannualleaveandsicknessofnon-clinical wardbasedstaff

· Maintainingwardrelatedformsandpaperwork–includingfiling, scanningand archiving

· Occasionalnotetakingatmeetings

· Occasionalprocessingofe-procurementrequests
