Legal Conveyancing Secretary
Grays | Full Time, Monday to Friday working hours – 9:00am to 5:00pm | £24,000–£26,000 per annum (DOE)

What will your role look like?
• Opening, closing, and organising client files
• Audio and copy typing letters, legal forms, and general correspondence
• Acting as first point of contact for clients (phone, email, and in person)
• Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
• Handling initial client enquiries
• Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
• Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
• Dealing with requisitions
• Arranging appointments
• Managing post and emails
• Handling general office administration
• Preparing bills
• Preparing completion statements
Are you the right person for the job?
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Fast and accurate typing skills (audio and copy typing essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
• Able to meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively
• High level of attention to detail
• Proactive and professional approach
• Confident telephone manner
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
