We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Semi-Skilled Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within the motor trade.
The company will invest in a long term training plan, up to and including achieving a mot licence. As skills are developed, it will result in aligned salary increases.
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm including breaks.
Starting Salary - Up to £30,000pa
Responsibilities
* Assisting qualified mechanics with vehicle servicing and repairs
* Carrying out basic maintenance such as oil changes, brake pads, filters, and tyres
* Learning to develop mechanical repair skills such as clutches, cambelts
Requirements
* Basic mechanical knowledge and previous experience in a garage/workshop
* Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 1, 2 or 3 Vehicle Maintenance) desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence required
* Right to work in the UK
