The Role
As Digital Experience Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the online journey for prospective applicants, students, and staff. Reporting to the Head of Digital User Experience and Special Projects, you’ll help optimise key platforms including our institutional website, student app, recruitment systems, and e-store. Your work will directly support the University’s strategic priorities and enhance digital innovation across our services.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Active involvement in the day-to-day functionality and governance of major
digital platforms.
• Driving improvements in usability, accessibility, and compliance.
• Using analytics and user feedback to inform decisions and optimise
experiences.
• Collaborating with IT, Marketing, Admissions, and external partners to deliver
integrated solutions.
• Contributing to digital innovation projects that transform user journeys.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in user experience principles and an understanding of web standards and accessibility compliance. They will be confident working with content management systems, analytics tools, and SEO best practices, and you’ll know how to turn data into actionable insights that improve digital journeys. They will also be comfortable working with colleagues across diverse teams with excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
