Summary
To provide support, advice and guidance to all members of the multidisciplinary team. To provide support to the management team and to act up for the Matron when required. The post holder will be working as a key member of a multi-professional team, participating in management and leadership responsibilities that support the wider maternity service, displaying excellent communication and leadership skills To be responsible for ensuring their own personal and professional updating which is appropriate to future development within the bereavement service. The post holder will strive to empower and enable midwives and maternity staff to advocate for women by developing bereavement champions in key clinical areas.
