*Working 22.2 hours per week this equates to a starting salary of £15,786 per annum.
We are recruiting for a Technician in Dog Grooming to join our team and support with the day-to-day running of our Dog Grooming Salon, Countryside Paws Dog Grooming. In this role, you will assist with daily grooming activities, help learners as they develop their practical skills, and play an important part in creating a safe, clean and professional environment for dogs, learners, and staff.
As part of your responsibilities, you will contribute to the wider College health and safety activity. You should have a good understanding of health and safety practices and be willing to undertake training in areas such as first aid and fire marshal duties. You will support staff and learners in maintaining clean, hygienic and well-organised workspaces.
This post is based at Suffolk New College Rural Campus (Otley) however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
You will need to have a Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject area, along with relevant professional industry experience, including experience of styling and finishing dogs.
