Summary

Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Trainee Projects Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm or 8am – 4pm

Position: Permanent, Full Time

Due to continued growth within our well-established and dynamic Glasgow based company we are looking to bring onboard an energetic and innovative Trainee Projects Coordinator within our technical department.
Our company specialize in large scale fenestration contracts working as sub-contractor to some of the largest building companies in the UK. We design, manufacture, supply and install all types of Timber, Aluminium and Composite window, door and curtain walling solutions all across the UK from our base here in Glasgow.

This will be a pivotal role working with the Project Coordinator within the business ensuring coordination of technical information between internal departments & the customer side team to ensure the flow of information, controlling of deadlines, managing customer expectation & contract changes/variations. This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation during this growth period and will be a great opportunity to work with large house builders on ongoing medium to high rise housing projects and support the business through this period of increasing sales and be involved in Ad Hoc improvement Projects as/when required.

Core Duties of the role:

• Review Client contract documents to ensure understand in of the project requirements.
• Review and plan out project milestones working with internal teams.
• Ensure all relevant documents are available to the technical teams and the client through online portal systems.
• Plan and conduct Hand-Over and Kick-Off meetings with technical teams both internal and external to ensure project requirements are understood.
• Plan/Agree delivery schedule with customers.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Education Level: High School Qualifications or Bachelor Degree.
Experience in place of education: True

Preferred: Qualification in Building Design.
Preferred: Working Knowledge of Current Scottish/UK Building regulations.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 24 months’ experience in sub-contract building industry (or similar role).
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong IT Literacy with MS Excel & Project Management Tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with relationship building ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
