Our platform enables buyers to request steel requirements and receive multiple competitive quotations from suppliers — driving cost savings and efficiency across the industry.

We are now recruiting motivated Business Development Partners (BDPs) across the UK to expand our buyer network.

The Opportunity
This is a self-employed, commission-based role with uncapped earning potential.
You will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and onboarding steel buyers onto the STEX platform.
This role is ideal for:
Experienced sales professionals
Self-employed individuals seeking performance-based income
People from steel, construction, manufacturing, marine, aviation or industrial sectors.

Motivated individuals who want freedom, flexibility and scalable earnings.
Steel industry knowledge is preferred but not essential. Full onboarding and support will be provided.

What You Will Be Doing
Prospecting and contacting potential steel buyers for (fabricators, contractors, manufacturers, marine & aviation industries etc.)
Presenting the STEX value proposition via phone, video call or in person. (Optionable)

Explaining subscription options and securing buyer sign-ups.
Managing your own pipeline and CRM updates
Working towards clear performance targets.
Progressing into higher earning pipelines once milestones are achieved.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Fluent English (spoken and written)

Access to a mobile phone and laptop/PC.

Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools.

Self-motivated and target-driven.

Professional communication skills.

Able to manage own schedule and workload.

Based in the UK.

Desirable (but not required):
Background in steel, construction, manufacturing, marine oraviation sector, engineering or industrial sales.

Previous B2B sales experience.

Existing business network.

Experience working on commission structures.
