Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fibreglass Laminator to join our small family run team. This role is suited to a hands-on professional with at least four years of proven experience in fibreglass/GRP lamination, capable of producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Hand lay-up of fibreglass components to specification
• Laminating, trimming, and finishing moulded parts
• Reading and working from drawings, moulds, and job instructions
• Mixing and applying resins, catalysts, and reinforcements safely and accurately
• Ensuring consistent quality, strength, and finish of all products
• Carrying out repairs, reworks, and modifications where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Working independently and as part of a production team to meet deadlines
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience as a Fibreglass Laminator (essential)
• Strong knowledge of fibreglass materials, resins, and lamination techniques
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Physically capable of manual work associated with the role
