Temps to perm - Monday to Friday 8:00Am to17:00PM
Job Details.
Autism & Individual Needs Support Specialist , Social Day Care services for Autistic & ADHD Young People, as well as other individual needs. This is an opportunity for an individual to work alongside our existing team and be overseen by our Management and Lead roles, with training and ongoing support to ensure they meet their objectives with competency and confidence.
You will partner young people in small groups, 2:1 or 1:1 support, encouraging engagement in life skill activities and promoting independence and inclusion. You will be required to; - Ensure a young person is equipped with the relevant strategies and tools to effectively communicate and regulate. - Support Personal Care requirements. - Liaise with our Management and Leadership team to ensure effective and productive daily tasks are carried out efficiently.
Ensure our children and young people are able to engage in activities and effectively use equipment and materials provided. Ideally you will have experience in working with Autistic young people, learning disabilities, young people that present with complex behaviours and other individual needs.
