Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Teaching Assistant to support the learning in our secondary classrooms. The applicant will need to be flexible and able to use their own initiative to support and prioritise the needs of children within the class.

About the role:
As an Apprentice Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating in learning activities.
• Promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individual education and behaviour plans.
• Provide feedback to pupils and contribute to progress records.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
• Support the use of ICT and help prepare resources for lessons.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection standards.
