Hours & Shift Pattern
• Shift: 09:30 – 18:00. £13.65 per hour
• Lunch Break: 12:30 – 13:00 (30 minutes)
• Total Working Hours: 8 hours per day (excluding break)
Job Summary
The Housekeeping Operative is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the site. This includes daily scheduled cleaning, reactive cleaning tasks, deep cleaning, laundry support, bin checks on pitches, and cleaning dugout stands on all pitches to ensure all guest and operational areas remain safe and presentable. Due to the nature of the business, no two days are the same, and duties can vary daily depending on events, site needs, and operational requirements.
The role also requires the safe use, care, and basic maintenance of all site equipment, including cleaning machinery, tools, and vehicles. Operatives are responsible for ensuring equipment is used correctly, kept clean, stored appropriately, and any damage or faults are reported immediately to the Manager to maintain safety and functionality.
The role requires travelling across multiple areas of the site using a site van, so a valid driving licence is essential, and Operatives must follow safe driving practices at all times while on site. A radio is compulsory during all shifts to ensure effective communication, coordination, and safety across the team. The Operative will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the site is maintained to a consistently high standard for staff, guests, and visitors.
