We're looking for a Practice Support Coordinator to join our Portman Dentex team and help ensure our dental practices receive first‑class support. This is a key role at the heart of our operations. You'll be the go‑to person for coordinating maintenance, repairs, and compliance visits-making sure everything is scheduled smoothly and communicated clearly to both clients and contractors. Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinating and booking appointments for engineers and contractors across multiple dental practices
  • Clearly explaining the purpose and scope of works when arranging visits
  • Acting as a friendly, professional point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Working closely with dental practice staff to understand their needs and minimise disruption
  • Keeping accurate records, schedules, and documentation
  • Managing a varied workload, balancing priorities and deadlines
  • Staying calm under pressure and resolving urgent issues when they arise
  • Keeping everyone informed of changes, delays, or updates

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have a calm, solutions‑focused approach, especially during busy periods and high attention to detail and accuracy, as well as:

  • Experience in facilities management, property services, or a similar coordination role (desirable)
  • Fantastic organisational and time‑management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Confidence building relationships with clients, engineers, and colleagues
  • The ability to explain technical or operational tasks in a clear, client‑friendly way
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
Other Attributes:
  1. Client‑focused with a strong understanding of great service
  2. Proactive, adaptable, and always one step ahead
  3. Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at different levels
When you join us, you'll receive:
  • Salary: £25,397
  • 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
  • Group personal pension scheme of matched contributions between 5% and 6%
  • Health Cash Plan & Life assurance
  • Discounts, vouchers, and financial aid programs
  • Funded Training Sponsorship Scheme
