BENDI Forklift Driver - Telford (Hortonwood)
£12.74 per hour | 6am-2pm (training period) | Immediate Start
GI Group is seeking a skilled BENDI Forklift Driver for a leading logistics operation in the Hortonwood area, Telford. If you have great communication skills and a valid BENDI forklift license, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, supportive team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate BENDI forklifts to load/unload trailers and vehicles
- Move stock safely between warehouse zones, docking areas, and storage locations
- Complete accurate data entry for goods-in and goods-out using warehouse systems
- Participate in stock checks and regular inventory counts
- Support goods receipt and dispatch processes, including scanning and labelling
- Assist with picking, packing, and order fulfilment as required
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and report defects
- Maintain compliance with company health and safety procedures
- Ensure workstations and warehouse areas are clean and hazard-free
- Engage in team communication and handovers with supervisors
Requirements:
- Valid BENDI forklift license
- Strong English skills (verbal & written)
- Confident in using computer systems for stock management
- Experience loading/unloading trailers and stocktaking is advantageous
- Punctual, reliable, and available to start immediately
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment preferred
