Summary
Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG
The Fitter role is an integral element of the day to day operational functionality delivering objectives and outputs efficiently and effectively within Kuehne+Nagel Technical services.
How you create impact
- Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
- Maintain any records which are kept electronically pertaining to the servicing and repair of equipment’s
- Ensure the Team Leader is made aware of spares requirements.
- Ensure individual production targets are met
- Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Operate to trained work instructions
- Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
- Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
- Comply and contribute to the KN 5s standards within the working area
- Achieve individual and team productivity performance standards including accuracy
- Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process
What we would like you to bring
- Experience of working to agreed targets
- PC literate
- MHE licence (where applicable)
- Recognised Engineering Qualifications (City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ2 or equivalent)
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Reliable
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy & high attention to detail
- Effective decision maker
