Oak Haven School is seeking to appoint an ambitious, passionate and resilient Maths Curriculum Lead to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to shape and lead Maths across KS2KS4 within a specialist SEMH setting.
Oak Haven School provides high-quality education for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our students require consistency, strong relationships and inspiring teaching to re-engage them with learning and enable them to achieve meaningful qualifications and positive futures.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and develop the Maths curriculum across KS2KS4
- Ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Maths
- Raise standards of attainment and engagement for pupils with SEMH needs
- Develop schemes of work that are ambitious, adaptive and sequenced
- Monitor progress and implement targeted interventions
- Support and coach colleagues to deliver outstanding Maths provision
- Contribute to whole-school development and pastoral support
This role includes a TLR2b responsibility and 1 SEN allowance in recognition of the specialist nature of the provision.

- Has experience of teaching Maths across KS2KS4 (including GCSE)

- Can lead strategically while maintaining a strong classroom presence
- Builds positive, restorative relationships with pupils and families
