As an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical challenges
- Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualised educational plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate lessons, activities, and therapies
- Fostering positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community
- Monitoring and documenting students' progress, and communicating regularly with the teaching team and parents
- Participating in professional development opportunities to stay informed of the latest best practices in special educational needs support
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a genuine passion for working with children, a deep understanding of special educational needs, and the ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of your students.
