Timings: Flexible hours - make a bespoke timetable with young person.
Pay: £25 - 30 depending on experience / qualifications
- Provide 1:1 or small‑group tuition to GCSE students in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or Languages.
- Deliver tailored sessions that address individual learning needs and help students close gaps in understanding.
- Support learners preparing for upcoming GCSE exams, ensuring they feel confident, motivated, and well‑equipped.
- Work with schools, alternative provisions, or local authorities to provide high‑quality academic intervention.
- What We're Looking For
- Strong subject knowledge at GCSE level.
- Experience working with young people either in schools, tutoring, or similar educational settings.
- A patient, encouraging approach and the ability to build positive relationships with learners.
- QTS is desirable but not essential; experienced tutors and unqualified teachers are welcome.
- A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
