Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for two experienced Material Handler Operators in Newport. This is a 6-week temporary role with an immediate start available, offering a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced recycling and scrap environment.

The Role
  • Operate Material Handlers such as Sennebogen, Fuchs, or Liebherr safely and efficiently.

  • Handle and move materials in a recycling/scrap environment.

  • Maintain machinery and equipment in line with company safety standards.

  • Follow site procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements
  • Experience operating Material Handlers in a recycling or scrap environment.

  • Qualifications for operating a wheeled excavator above 10T (NPORS / CPCS).

  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, between 06:00-16:00.

  • Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious.
