Summary

Pinnacle Group is looking to recruit an experienced, hands-on Security Manager to join our Workplace FM Management Team at our client’s retail shopping centre in Sale - 15mins outside Manchester City Centre.

You will be responsible for the delivery of professional security & control room services to our client. Working closely with the Site/Contract Manager tosupportin the maintenance, security and safety of the client’s premises and people by ways of monitoring, assisting in emergency controls and surveying the building and their assets.

Your role also includes people management in the associated areas and will be the first point of contact concerning all client queries in the Site/Contract Manager's absence.

This is a full-time position, working on a two-week rota – which involves working every second weekend.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing security staff rotas, covering sickness absence & holiday
  • Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required and provide clear information upon request to the Site/Contract manager concerning site-specific information.
  • Ensure AIs & SOPs are up to date.
  • Oversee and ensure robust, successful on-site inductions, appraisals, training and associated training records are maintained, ensuring service levels and standards are always met.
  • Ensure that all absences and sickness are reported on both Timegate and Cascade, and report to the relevant manager.
  • Audit FM services and report in line with contract requirements.
  • Assist the Site/Contract Manager in developing and maintaining systems, procedures & standards to ensure the smooth running of the service and during emergencies, being part of the emergency response team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to challenge accepted or established practices and structures.

Key Requirements will include:

  • Valid SIA Badge – SG or DS Licence * essential
  • Valid CCTV Licence * essential
  • First Aid qualification * essential
  • Demonstrate experience working as a Security Manager
  • Effective and decisive organisational skills and the ability to develop operational teams focused on service delivery.
  • Understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures.
  • GDPR awareness – sharing of CCTV footage
  • Ability to understand and support in the management of budgets
  • Full 5-year checkable work history
