Summary

The post holder will: Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation andpromote these on day-to-day basis. Have operational responsibilities for the ECT Department incollaboration with the ECT Manager / Lead Practitioner. They willensure smooth running of the department and a high level ofintegration with other services and organisations when needed. Provide strong clinical leadership for all staff, being knowledgeableabout matters specific to ECT, and where appropriate lead decisionsabout the care of all patients referred for ECT treatments Be clinically responsible for the coordination and implementation ofeffective treatment and patient care. Liaise with other professionalsand with those providing support services. Take a lead role in developing students learning packages for ECT withan aim to promote services and expand knowledge of ECT both forstudents, qualified staff members, medical students and other medicalstaff development.
