Summary

HR Manager – Doncaster – up to £45k
Our client is at the beginning of a very exciting rebuild following an international merger. In order to fully maximise their potential, they need to build a strong foundation, a pivotal part of this is Human Resources. They are therefore seeking a dedicated HR Professional to provide comprehensive HR support to both employees and managers.

HR Manager - Key Responsibilities
Manage, coordinate and administer all aspects of the HR function for a 120-employee manufacturing business including:
Discussing business strategies, HR challenges and HR plans with Management and Directors.
Working with supervisors and managers in their business area to make sure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives.
Management of the time and attendance system, Kelio and admin of employees' working hours for monthly submission to a third-party payroll provider.
Developing and implementing processes for recruitment, training, restructuring and succession planning; actively involved in end-to-end recruitment and apprenticeships processes.
Preparation of new employment documentation, including offer letters, contracts of employment, training agreements and induction plans.
Develop, implement, and manage a performance management process.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance and coach line supervisors and managers on ways to motivate their employees and lead more effectively.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, providing counselling on policies and procedures.
Attending HR conferences and ensuring compliance with employment law changes.

HR Manager – qualifications and experience:
Proven experience as an HR officer at a senior level or in another senior HR position.
Strong ethics and reliability.
HR Credentials (CIPD Level 5 minimum).
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.).
Understanding of laws and disciplinary procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As well as a competitive salary up to £45k, the benefits for the HR Manager include:
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm, finishing at 4.30pm on Fridays.
Holidays: Up to 34 inc. over 5 years (20 days plus your birthday, plus bank holidays and an additional day for every completed 12 months of the holiday calendar year, up to a maximum of 25 Days).
