The Role
The University of Roehampton Professional Services Limited is recruiting to the role of University Lawyer to join our Legal Services provision. Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, the role holder will oversee the delivery of high quality and efficient legal services at the University, whilst also acting as a strategic advisor to senior managers.

The role would suit a qualified solicitor or barrister with a commercial and contractual background or previous in-house experience, whether in education or elsewhere, who is comfortable engaging with a broad range of legal work. This will include estates, employment law, intellectual property, data protection, governance, regulatory and compliance, company law, charity law, disputes and litigation.
You will provide legal advice and input within your areas of expertise, whilst also coordinating the provision of external legal advice in relation to the full range of work at the University. You will ideally have at least 3 – 5 years PQE.
