Job Introduction
Sodexo is seeking a reliable and enthusiasticKitchen Porter to join our kitchenteam.This is a key role in supporting the smooth and safe running of thekitchen, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety aremaintained at all times.You’llwork closely with the wider kitchenteam, building positive working relationships while following Sodexo and clientpolicies, health and safety regulations, and safe working practices to helpcreate a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
What you’ll do:
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen by delivering a reliable and efficient kitchen portering service across the site.
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised, following all health & safety, hygiene, and company standards at all times.
- Look after cleaning materials, stock, and equipment, making sure everything is stored safely, used correctly, and reported if faulty.
- Work closely with the kitchen team, Site Manager, and Head Chef, attending team meetings and helping to create a positive, supportive working environment.
- Use company and client systems correctly, carry out regular cleaning checks, and report any issues, feedback, or compliments as needed.
What you bring:
- Experience working in a kitchen or similar team-based environment would be helpful.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take part in training.
- Friendly and clear communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with colleagues, customers, and clients.
- A team player who enjoys working with others and contributing to a supportive working environment.
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions and standards consistently.
