Introduction

Acorn by Synergie, as a preferred supplier, is recruiting for a well-known and respected business in the Newport area. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative & Counterbalance FLT Driver to support the efficient receiving, storage, picking, and loading of stock within their Newport hub.

This is an excellent opportunity offering immediate starts and potential for permanent employment.

Key Duties
  • Assist with deliveries, unloading and loading vehicles at the Newport hub.

  • Ensure stock is received, stored, picked, and dispatched efficiently.

  • Operate a Counterbalance FLT safely and effectively.

  • Carry out manual handling duties as required.

  • Follow safe working practices at all times.

Requirements
  • Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (ITSSAR or RTITB approved).

  • Previous warehouse and FLT experience.

  • Experience in manual handling.

  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.

  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Pay
  • £13.69 per hour PAYE.

  • £16.50 per hour Umbrella PAYE.

  • Minimum 8 hours' pay guaranteed daily.
