Summary
An amazing opportunity has arisen to work at Station House Nursery School, Red Cat Lane, Burscough. We are looking for fun, enthusiastic, Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly, established team.
About the Role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be involved in planning and managing exciting educational activities that will inspire, engage and develop our children.
Qualities:
• Approachable with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Ability to remain calm, positive and enthusiastic when working under pressure.
• Passionate about children’s learning.
Key Skills and Attributes:
• Recognised Early Years Qualifications - Level 2 or higher.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Statutory Framework.
• Good understanding of children's developmental stages.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
Working Hours and Pay:
£13.30 per hour from April 2026. 40 hours covering a shift pattern of 4 days per week with a dedicated Rest Day. The Nursery is open 7.30am - 6pm.
