Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and assistance to children with complex needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting people in achieving their potential within a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal, social, and emotional support tailored to each persons specific needs.
• Assist people in daily activities, including personal care, meal times, and educational tasks.
• Work closely with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.
• Implement care plans and therapeutic interventions designed to enhance development.
• Support children in developing communication, social, and life skills.
• Facilitate access to recreational and community activities that promote inclusion.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding and care policies.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment that respects the dignity and individuality of each child.
• Performing health related management tasks to children with complex needs
Requirements:
• Experience working with children with disabilities or complex needs (preferred but not essential).
• Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and child protection policies.
• Patience, resilience, and a passion for making a difference in children's lives.
