Hourly rate: £12.60

Dual Funded: Self-directed support & ILF

Days Days and times to be discussed at interview.

Employer willing to be flexible with days and times, but will include weekends at times.

Location: Cumnock

Personal Assistant / Companion required to provide support to a gentleman in Cumnock.

He has a wheelchair which he only uses when necessary.

To provide personal care support including showering, dressing, meal prep, assistance with medication, as well as household tasks. Assistance with shopping, paperwork, ordering medication

You may be asked at times to assist with covering for other staff that assist with his social support ( if they are on A/L or off sick ) you may be accompanying the gentleman on outings to golf / fishing weather permitting and to appointments.

Experience / Qualifications Required

Full Drivers licence preferred, as will occasionally have to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell. Previous experience working in the care sector

Qualities
This vacancy would be suitable to someone with a mature outlook who would feel comfortable to support the employer with the above tasks.

It is essential that you are reliable, trustworthy, respectful and aware of the importance of confidentiality.

There is a 6 month probationary period attached to this post, please note there is a 1 weeks notice within this period if things don’t work out

Successful applicant will have to undergo a new or update of the PVG disclosure scheme as well as provide 2 up to date reference contacts
