As an Apprentice SHEQ Advisor, you will support the SHEQ team in developing and promoting a safe working culture across the business. You’ll be involved in implementing safety procedures, carrying out site inspections, assisting with incident investigations and supporting audits aligned to industry standards such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will help identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to strategies that enhance workplace safety and environmental performance. This apprenticeship provides both practical on‑site experience and structured learning, giving you the foundation to develop into a confident and skilled SHEQ professional.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone enthusiastic, curious, and committed to learning. You don’t need industry experience — just the right attitude and a desire to grow.
Essential attributes:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and willingness to follow processes
- A collaborative, positive approach and eagerness to learn
- Basic analytical and problem‑solving ability
Qualifications:
- Five GCSEs, including Maths and English (grade 6 or above)
- Three A‑Levels (or equivalent)
- Full driving licence (desirable)
This is an Advanced Level 3 Health, Safety, Environment & Quality apprenticeship, typically completed within 24 months. After achieving Level 3, you’ll progress to a NEBOSH or IOSH Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health and Safety, which can take up to two years. You will also be supported in gaining professional membership with IOSH or NEBOSH.
