Summary
The Best Connection Middlesbrough is currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver/Labourer for our respected client based in Stockton, this is a hybrid role with the bulk of the work being labouring and house removals. However, you will also be responsible for driving the company 7.5t vehicle to and from jobs. This job involves heavy lifting.
Pay rate:
- £16.25 - Monday to Friday
- £24.37 - Saturday
- £32.50 - Sunday
Shift Pattern:
- Monday - Friday
- 09:00 - 17:30
- Occasional weekend work
Job roles:
- Packing: Carefully packing household items and glassware into boxes, and wrapping furniture to prevent damage.
- Loading and Unloading: Loading furniture, appliances, and boxes into vehicles and securing them using straps to prevent movement during transit.
- Moving Items: Transporting large items such as sofas, beds, and kitchen appliances, often up and down stairs.
- Furniture Disassembly/Assembly: Taking apart large furniture items (e.g., wardrobes, beds) at the pickup location and reassembling them at the destination.
- Customer Service: Liaising with clients, confirming inventory, and providing a friendly, professional service.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Assisting with daily vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, oil, tires) and keeping the vehicle clean and organised.
